1. Grow up. Saying you "banged" your girlfriend speaks volumes about your maturity and self-confidence, none of it good.
2. Stop acting like a frat boy. If the most notable thing you did after your girlfriend was T.V. and arm-wrestling, you need to take stock of your life.

30s are awesome, you feel grown up, but not old, these are the peak years of your life, good balance of fun and family. I'm pushing 40 now, the old is starting to set in.

A good start would be finishing school. A poster (can't remember who) on here said, "if you're not making six figures by 30 you should seriously reevaluate your life." I thought this was a great motto. Your best years are behind you and you still attend class.
You also don't want to be the creepy 50 something dad at kindergarten parent teacher conference.

Unfortunately my first career wouldn't have worked out monetarily in the long run. It was awesome, I loved it, was amazing going to work and dealing with different challenges every day, but the money wasn't there. Same across the whole industry unless I wanted to get into the finance side of things

Had to start over, and it will work out much better this time. My wallet will be much happier
