I’m just curious what goes on in the brains of people that think it’s a good time to run, fight, or resist arrest. Is there some kind of precedent for people running, resisting arrest, or beating a cop that doesn't eventually end in them in cuffs or worse, and worse time in jail as a result of it?

Is there any thinking going on up there in that noodle? What do they think is going to happen to them long term?

Cops need to be able to defend themselves from people who don't have respect for their badge. Case in point: the shitbag who totalled the cop in the OP. This is a cut and dry issue. Not sure what you're still arguing about.

That's why they have a gun. The purpose of the gun is to dissuade scumbags from trying to fight cops; you don't punch a guy whose carrying a gun and can shoot you.

Are you trying to say law and order should just be handled wild west style from now on? If someone gets caught shoplifting he's allowed to challenge the sheriff to fisticuffs in the street and he only gets arrested if the officer wins?

Your prevailing logic here is implying that a police officer should only be able to arrest someone if he/she can beat the perp in a fist fight. Do you not recognize how just mind-numbingly ignorant that is?

Man, that piece of trash was dropping bombs on that out of shape cop. Cops need to learn to throw some hands instead of having to rely on a gun. It was clear that idiot wasnt going to comply with being cuffed. He should have rethought that situation when he was unwilling to put both hands behind his back and been more prepared.

There it is.

That is the inherent problem in our society. We have large and growing numbers of low IQ humans living amongst us. Idiocracy. It is well established that the lower the IQ, the lower the inability to control impulse and make good decisions that weigh long term consequences. Almost every problem with society today can be attributed to a general lack of impulse control and inability to weigh and consider the long term consequences of actions - like throwing fists at an arresting officer.

Props to the dude already in handcuffs trying his best to get his boy off that cop.

Or kick the cop in the head.

Most police officers with over 20 years are just just taking a long lunch now. You can’t get them to do anything right now. They barely come to work because they literally have thousands of sick and vacation hours.

Be careful, some don’t like the truth being brought up.

But hey, this pillar of Pineville will have his “skreet cred”, right?

I saw on Facebook that someone posted that the hospital had 24 hours to post a statement “or else!”

Update: we are still standing lol

Lol, I’m not on FB but I don’t doubt it. All the mental midgets that commented on the video on twatter were in full support of that fine, upstanding citizen.

Or else what? What would happen? Not a damn thing.

Amazing how ignorant some people truly are.

In his Facebook rant, he posted that rapides would burn if they didn’t respond or make a statement.

There was a code red that was called overhead in the laundry department (I think) but then they canceled it seconds later. So it was mistakingly called but still, I really though he came to hospital lighter in hand ready to torch the place

I’m confused, this is now the hospital’s fault?

Lunacy in full effect.
