Has Alexandria really gone that far downhill? I haven't been there in 15+ years.

Lived there for 30 years. Most of my family still lives in the area. Half of the city is like being in Mogadishu

They had cops at every entrance to the ER plus cops outside most of the rooms in the ER Saturday night.

They apparently had a stand off between cops and protesters (I don’t know how else to describe them) Saturday night. Something like 9 shootings and 2 deaths.

They really need to pump those numbers to effect any real changes. Somewhere close to 4, maybe 5, digits will cause change and whittle the trouble down.

In case you didn’t know...this country is not moving forward with this “movement”. This is an attempt at wealth redistribution. Nothing more. The on my way to solve this problem is for humans to get their humanity back. It has to bother a person to kill another. It has to bother a person to mistreat another. Cops are very little of the problem. 75% of the problem is the criminal behavior of the citizens of this country. Until that is addressed the rest is a waste. Guess what BLM doesn’t care. They are the new al sharpton. This is about a payoff.

Alexandria was 25 murders per capita in2018. Roughly 5 times the national average. Mostly gang bangers wannabes. Still can’t hold a candle to BR or Nola. They are running 35 plus. Don’t do drugs or run around with those who do, and you will be just fine in the Cenlaw metropolis of Ellick.
