Of the 15 high schools included in the audit, only 3 didn't have issues uncovered. Woodlawn and BR Magnet were among those three that were on the straight and narrow.

Charter schools get audited. Every year they must pay for and have a full financial audit, then every 4 years they have an audit from the district or state to determine whether their charter will be revoked or approved for an additional number of years.

Get your facts not just word of mouth from a "friend"

LOL the FBI disagrees. The audits on charters and recovery districts are nowhere near as in depth as the audit that was done on EBRSS.

Way to mindlessly defend your government politicians.

So you must work in the auditing department to know this as fact.

And I do not know why you keep throwing the FBI into this discussion - the FBI does not care what diploma a child gets. That is the matter on hand. The FBI cares about what you do with federal money.

Start another thread for that discussion.

Which, I'm sure, will be the rallying cry considering that the worst offenses are at heavily-black schools like Scotlandville and McKinley.

The opposition to St.George, not just on TD, has been eerily silent....

A little deflection here and there, and a shot at Memphis schools is all that I've seen.

It's not easy to defend EBR parish schools right now. Despite the words or opinions of some politicans, the audit and the findings reported to the public are the fault of the EBR school administration and faculty. There's really no one else to blame.

That's not to say they won't try...

I figure the next page of the playbook is "We hired temps from Lofton Staffing to do this and they dropped the ball", even if they never hired a single temp.

It's all deflect-deflect-deflect rather than acknowledge that they fricked up.

The Advocate comments are nothing but shots at White. Nothing about the facts of the audit findings.

She's actually pretty awesome and a professor at LSU. I don't really agree with her politics though.
