I don't understand how so many can remain blind to the fact that there is no such thing as dems and republicans in DC. There is the haves and have nots. Those running the country run a facade acting like there are 2 sides and pit Americans against each other while they rob us blind and enrich themselves and the corporations.

Just look at that Lauren Beaubart (sp?) video where shes being felt up by a democrat. They don't hate each other in DC, its all an act to distract us while they help themselves.

Thank 40 year old white women. They are the ones who put the potato in the White House. No mean tweets though. Elections have consequences.

You can try to gaslight others into thinking things weren’t much much better for all of us under Trump than it is now under Biden, but I’m not buying it, and neither would the majority of the population.

Are you trying to gaslight others into thinking Trump and lockdowns and stimulus checks have nothing to do with today's inflation?

Sure seems like you are.

Your gaslighting is strong. You ever think about working for CNN?

But I'm the gaslighter.

quote:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday blocked an attempt to vote on the $2,000 stimulus checks approved by the House, but resurrected the higher payments in a new bill that includes other items on President Trump's wish list: The creation of a commission to study election fraud and the repeal of Section 230, which shields social media companies from lawsuits.

The House passed the bill introduced last week and brought it to the floor for a vote in response to the last-minute request from Mr. Trump to increase the payments to $2,000. A number of Republicans joined with their Democratic counterparts in support of the measure.

quote:

Senator Kelly Loeffler tweeted earlier Tuesday to announce her support for the $2,000 payments, saying, "I agree with @realDonaldTrump — we need to deliver $2,000 direct relief checks to the American people." Senator David Perdue quickly followed, tweeting, "President @realDonaldTrump is right — I support this push for $2,000 in direct relief for the American people."

quote:

Following McConnell's objection earlier Tuesday, Mr. Trump said the Senate must approve the $2,000 checks "ASAP" unless they have a "death wish."

"$600 IS NOT ENOUGH! Also, get rid of Section 230 - Don't let Big Tech steal our Country, and don't let the Democrats steal the Presidential Election. Get tough!" he tweeted.

Pretty much most accurate post here. People say Trump bucks but congress approved the stimulus which was D led. People bring up D led congress but Trump signed it off. I liked Trump, especially how everything was before Covid, but Rs and Ds are all awful.

Well said. The idea that anyone in DC is looking out for us common folks is wild.

People get so caught up on their side, they actually think their side is looking out for them. They are not.

Spoken like one of the boomers who was so scared of dying a few years early that they f’d every other generation by going along with the shutdowns. Y’all could have just stayed home yourselves if you wanted to cower in fear, but nope, y’all went along with a fear based policy of making everyone else stay home too and screwed your own children and grandchildren. I’ll never forget how selfishly boomers acted during COVID.

I’ve never been vaccinated, never missed a day of work during the entire covid period, was always anti-lockdown and anti-mask.
But please continue to generalize and speculate on things you know nothing about.

All government spending adds to inflation. The difference is, Trump actually tried to help the average American, and Biden only cares for tree huggers, trannies, illegals and Ukraine.

So why are you taking issue with people saying both sides have contributed, if you agree that both sides have contributed?

This is why we need a 3rd party to get a foothold. Maybe its the Forward party but probably not. But we need a 3rd option that the average American can vote for to fix things that affect our daily lives. The R's and the D's don't give af about us and never will until the people put someone else in charge. And even then this is wishful thinking that the "new party" wouldn't just help themselves as well.

We need congress term limits and to figure out how to get corporate dollars out of politics. We also need people holding office to not be allowed to buy and sell stocks. Working for the Government is supposed to be a civil service, not a get rich quick scheme!!!

I’m not. I’m saying Americans actually got something from the spending under Trump. The spending under Biden has made life worse for Americans.

So naive and gullible. If electric was so great, give me the option to buy gas or electric and I will buy the one that is the best. Hence the reason the government is forcing electric on us because they know it can’t compare on the open market
