when both deaths are equally horrible.

I mean they're equal in that both resulted in one person dying in an accident. But a bride to be dying on the way to her bachelorette party a month before her wedding pulls at the heart strings a little bit more than a guy that died in a somewhat dangerous job. I'm not minimizing that guy's death, but there is definitely a difference.

I'm not talking about boosie, his comment was fricked up.. I'm just saying in principle people are treating this death completely different than the other, when both deaths are equally horrible.

True.

And interesting, too. I'm not sure why, but I find that when a young, pretty girl dies, for some reason, people feel more of a personal attachment. Not purposely, just something different seems to click.

I agree, and I was just honestly curious why..

Vagina is a commodity and sperm isn't. It's quite simple.

What's more offensive, some bad puns or saying you'd frick a corpse?

obviously the corpse but i think rather than banning him he should just face the music...which he was being called out on and after a few minutes he probably would have deleted his post. But that is me.

Falling into a woodchipper is an absurd way to die. Car crashes are very common, and unfortunate.

Interesting. How long have you been married?

12 years

I would be crushed if either of my parents died right now, but that's because they are both in good health and relatively young. But it would be nothing compared to my wife dying.

totally different in the sense of moving forward in life. I just think losing my parents would cut much more deep because of the unconditional love and long history of memories and whatnot. Losing a spouse would hurt in a different way because I dont know how I could live with out her and how to raise my kids without her.

I'm not going to say your opinion is wrong, and I definitely see where you're coming from. Both would of course be awful.

I would too.

As much "in love" that you think you are, significant others are replaceable. Parents arent.

I would not say that someone you've spent over half your life with and raised kids with is replaceable.

Meh, if you feel this way, you either have a shitty marriage or haven't met the right person.

that's different than what I'm saying.

My opinion may change after I've been married 20+ years and my parents are well into their 70's

I've noticed the number of people (mostly women actually) driving while staring at their phone has gone way up the last couple years. The rise of the smart phone and the ability to text or surf the web while on the go is making our roads a far more dangerous place.

so much this

Do we know that this happened in a no pass zone?

No and thats why I said in my previous post that id like to know what the road markers indicated. highway patrol stated that no charges would be filed. That leads me to believe that she did not violate any traffic laws.

Go spend the next two decades with your wife raising your kids and then come back and talk to me.

as much as you think you disagree, people move on all the time from losing SO's. Is it hard, sure. Especially with kids involved.

Losing an elderly parent is different also, where you almost expect it. But still, you'll only have 1 set of parents. You can develop a new best friend with time.

A white girl died, that means no joking allowed.

Meanwhile a lawncare guy gets fed into a wood chipper and it's 5 pages of puns.

Gotta love hypocrisy.
