is primed to become Section 8 in a few years. Overbuilding and Corona is going to be the deathknell of that area.

Okay? You don’t think students will still use the housing while they take online classes?

Section 8? Sounds like an opportunity to buy cheap and raise rent when things return to normal

I agree. Took a finance class with the VP of finance of Sterling Properties. His opinion was that the major developments would be in trouble

It's the cycle of life there. Developers build too many apartments. The students go to the newer complexes. The older ones can't fill their units and start taking Section 8. 10 years later there's another round of construction. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Don’t know if students live there anymore.

I lived in Teakwood in the mid 90’s. Great times.

This is every large state school in the country

Mowing down entire blocks of the historic college hang outs close to campus to put up paper wall and laminate floor "luxury" apartments.

Nothing will make me happier than watching those companies completely eat shite for what they have done to some of the campuses around the country.

I hadn’t been down Burbank by Lee in a long time and was SHOCKED by the amount of cheap quickly built apartments all over that area now. That place is going to turn into a complete shite hole one day.

The best thing any area can do is abolish section 8.

No good comes from it
