To accept one side because the other might be worse is no way to judge politicians.

Shut down gyms, health food stores, and prohibit running. Going to free up state funds to ramp up production of Big Macs and Whoppers for the population.

Gyms as good as closed, hell also basically neuter phase 2 and it will look like phase 1. 25% in restaurants no more than 10 in one place etc. but abortion clinics will stay opens and casinos at 50%

In that vein: to tell someone to"hold their nose and vote" no way to win elections.

My folks would rent a cottage by the shuffleboard courts in the middle. My grandfather would bring his boat from New Orleans and rent a slip across the street for the month of June.

We’d hit Ship Island on Father’s Day, go to the go cart tracks, water slide parks, plow through fried food at Aunt Jenny’s......those were the days.

It was the bestest trashiest thing ever.

I have an irrational anger over the gyms being shut back down (if that happens), and shouldn’t bc I’ve expected it. Based on their damn data gyms have only accounted for 26 cases from 3 outbreaks in July.

I fully expect nothing to change tomorrow, JBE has released his plan for next week

Catholic News

quote:

“I’m going to call for three days of fasting and prayer for our state, for July 20 through the 22nd,” said Edwards, explaining that he received a request for the spiritual practice during a call with religious leaders from across the state.

Prayer and fasting are “a spiritual diet and exercise that I as a Catholic Christian believe is very important, anyway,” said Edwards.

The governor said he will be fasting from lunch Monday through Wednesday of next week, and “praying for the people of Louisiana,” especially the sick, their caretakers, and the families of those who have died from COVID-19.
