I guess. I don't ask. I've got my own life. Own things to worry about. She's a good mom so that's all I'm concerned with. Her personal life is no business of mine any more than mine is to her as long as it doesn't affect the kids. No point in being hung up on someone that doesn't want you anyway. Plenty PLENTY of women out there that can appreciate me for what I am. And I'm okay with that.
You know damn well if they are still together or not. Don't you talk to your kids about the time they spend at their moms?

You been getting laid a lot, fr33

From what I heard he had left. Whatever that means. I don't really care. He's a coward and if she's fine with dating a sackless jelly-roll little boy.
Well that's on her.
Well that's on her.

I just think you would care about your kids being around him but if it doesn't bother you that is great!

Well, it definitely helps the tension for sure.
I can understand the guys whose wives leave and take them to the cleaners, it leaves you bitter.
I came out smelling like a rose. And once all the other stuff happened that really didn't seem to matter much in the grand scope of things.

It boils down to this. I have to trust her enough to not put the kids in a bad situation just like she has to trust me.

No doubt. It's got to be tough to trust her with anything after the shite she pulled but you have to hope she won't do anything to hurt the kids.

I've learned a LOT about women since then. Just because a woman isn't faithful doesn't mean she is bad mother necessarily. The whole cheating thing makes people act stupidly.

Absolutely. We go in to the whole thing with the idea of devotion and get betrayed. TED has a good video on this that I will have to link later.

this type of entertainment ingrains the "bitches be crazy" stuff into young males before they even have a chance to experience marriage for themselves and see that it isn't always like that...
Wait a second, so someone has to get married and have their life potentially turned upside down and ruined before they can acknowledge that bitches, in fact, do be crazy?
Here's the thing, it's not the inherent craziness that ruins relationships. It's a woman's failure to declare her idiosyncrasies and instead hide them in an attempt to fit whatever template she feels a female has to take on to get a quality man. All one has to do is look at any 10 random dating profiles from women. They all say the same thing. "I like reading, I like hiking, I like cooking, I like sports (yeah right).
It's the "I'm not crazy" women that are the worst, because they're usually so crazy that they have to hide it until the guy's married and trapped. She thinks no one would like her if they knew how fricked up she was.
Guess what, we're all fricked up. Put all your cards out on the table and either we mesh or we don't. Sure, don't release all of your crazy on the first date (no one can take that) but give me small doses. Some guy will be ok with it, some won't. But finding women that will do that is exceedingly rare.

I find cross class marriages (with certain exceptions) to work out horribly. I have known of more than one investment banker type that married much lower class women, and the women could not handle it. They reverted back to the mean. Yup
So true. In fact, cross class marriages probably have a higher stress rate and failure rate than interracial marriages of the same socio-economic class.

Even if my marriage turned horrible and ended tomorrow I still wouldn't have any regrets because without my marriage I wouldn't have my kids

But what if I really DO love reading and hiking?
Didn't read whole thread, just woke up....but I get what you are saying. It's like the chick in Gone Girl. Many are too busy trying to be the "cool chick".

One of the many reasons I spend all of my money and enjoy my life. If my wife ever leaves, she's taking nothing but half the bills with her.
I pity the fools who spend their lives living thrifty so they can hoard their money, only to have it taken from them in the end.

You are right about that, they can be amazing parents, BUT the revolving door and the associated drama can be rough on certain kids. You don't really notice while they are young but they often act out when they get older. It sucks.
