Ford looks like shite, Chevy is just a step under GMC, the Dodge is probably the best truck for the money but it’s a dodge.

Love my ram 1500 sports edition Laramie package. Not to say the rest are bad, but the ram interior is tops right now.

I test drove a Ram 1500 today. I was really overall impressed with it. I think it may be in the lead at the moment. I haven’t driven a GMC yet though.

You should put that and the stipulations in the OP or you’ll keep getting the same responses.

Have you test driven any of the F-150s yet?

I have an 18 F150 now that’s a company truck. I test drove an 21 F150 today. It’s pretty much just like her one I have now except the back seat is more roomy and it has more bells & whistles like trailer backup assist. It’s ok. But so far I’m more impressed with the Ram.

Yes. That’s a requirement.

BTW, I discovered today that Chevy is making a turbo 4 cylinder Silverado. It’s as underpowered as it sounds.

I bought a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. Negatives are that the interiors are not as nice as Ford or Ram but it drives way better than the two F150’s I’ve had. I can’t speak to Ram drivability. Mine has the 5.3L and 10spd and it gets great highway milage and has plenty of power.

Are the transmissions in Rams still garbage? My dad had Dodge company trucks for years and every time he got them to about 60k miles the transmission would start slipping. Happened with 3 different trucks.

I was really looking into a new truck about 3 months ago. Down to either a Sierra 1500 or a Ford F-250. Then the whole “shortage” BS came about and jacked up the prices.

I’m postponing buying until this time next year.

I’ve heard the same thing about Dodge transmissions. It’s the main thing that gives me pause.
