They had help from OSHA and the EPA, but it is nice to be able to make a decent wage in a work environment that is reasonably safe and proper PPE is provided to protect against inherent health hazards. It's also nice that our rivers and lakes don't catch on fire nearly as frequently as they did 50 years ago and we no longer have any Love Canal type housing relocations.

You're one of THOSE guys. Automation is a real thing, but geez people are going way overboard on it these days. You would think robots are going to be ruling the country starting next weekend.
