re: So, does consuming food products with “bio engineered” ingredients cause you any concern?

Most of it is genetically modified to be resistant to pesticides to maintain high yields.

Eating processed food concerns me. When we go to Spain or Italy we are eating fresh ingredients and aren’t snacking. I lose weight every time I go to those countries.

When I am in the grocery store "bio engineered" food is one of my least concerns.

It really depends on what exactly you're talking about. Every single fruit, vegetable, and grain you eat has been engineered in some way.
Really you should ask questions like "is it good that this bread I bought never goes stale?"

Anyone who is against bio-engineering is also in favor of mass genocide. That's what it really comes down to.

Not an issue with the carnivore diet. You could debate antibiotics and maybe steroids, but it's about as easy as it gets.

Human dna was majorly altered by the annuaki/aliens/gods 10k-8k ago anyway so we are already genetically modified.
The bastards even created corn and potatoes to fatten us at the same time. That shite worked.
A pox on all the genetic altering sons of bitches.

I’ve spoken with a salesman that sells those artificial creamers and he told me he wouldn’t dare put them in his coffee. He said they’re one step below drinking plastic.
He's right, but that's not bio-engineered. That's straight up chemical engineering. And the ingredient is synthetic oil of the kind that sticks to the sides of your arteries and causes heart attacks. I can't believe that shite is legal in this day and age.

If it wasn’t for bio engineered wheat by Norman Borlaug the world would have about a billion less people
That isn't a great selling point in todays society

I work in the agricultural sector and am very familiar with GMOs. Non-GMO and organic is a complete marketing scam. Using pesticides on pesticide resistant crops is the best way to grow crops. There is absolutely nothing other than fearmongering that suggests GMOs are harmful to human health.

You meant to say herbicide.

cause one to have any pause for concern or not considering many countries have banned it being sold in their countries, as well as the overall weight issues many to most of our citizens seem to have, and if there might be a correlation between that and our weight.
Yeah, Americans are overweight because of the damn GMO fruits and vegetables.

Herbicide falls under the category of pesticide, but it is the more appropriate term.

Well I'm convinced. When does our comet come close so we can check out?

The most important foods have almost all been genetically modified or bio engineered.
Yeah, genetic experiments with food have yielded a lot of very important (positive) results, and there have been some important nutritional deficits addressed in Asia and Africa if I recall.
There probably should be some clarification as to what “bioengineered” means, because altering the number of chromosomes is common and easy (and responsible for edible bananas, and I think seedless watermelons, too).
In terms of forced gene insertions, as above- some very important ones are out there and have been good.
All citrus shares a common ancestor plant that’s been bred and modified to the dozenish varieties we love and enjoy today.

I’m not sure half the stuff on the shelves should even be considered good to begin with.

it’s definitely contributed to our obesity.
since GMI general increase harvest and help crops survive droughts and other harsh conditions we have way less famines.

I'm not normally a stickler for nomenclature, but on this particular topic, I think it is important.

Couldn't be any worse than Coca-Cola. If it's not fruit, veg, meat, grain, or nuts, it's mostly engineered (fake) food
And it's very concerning
