Dang. He was a pioneer. I have owned 4 different Burton snowboards in my life, always considered them the gold standard.

Visited the Burton factory back in the early 90s in Vermont.

That sucks. Burton is an iconic brand and an example of a true American success story.

I remember seeing a few snowboards for the first time back in 1983 skiing in CO. I never thought it would take off like it did.

I can imagine him and Craig Kelly are reunited now catching the first chair up for some fresh runs.
