Every weather app i own had predicted 41-42 at 5pm, as of this morning. pretty interesting.

It’s 33 according to my outdoor thermometer here in north Houston, the red band is about to hit us, stupidly told the kids it might snow and they’re not sitting by the door with their boots and jackets on

Well someone is WAY wrong. Go look at other local weather gauges in your area, they're all showing 41.

HRRR is just straight up a non-believer in that moisture in Texas, confusing

NAM isn't a believer, either.

ETA: At least not in advancing in Eastward.

Yea the NAM isn’t seeing it and the HRRR gets rid of it almost immediately.

HRRR has all of that central Texas moisture dissipating by 0z which is where we are now and it's still pumping full speed through central Texas. We'll see if it's able to propagate into SW Louisiana. It's getting closer.

Dry air is just taking over. Look at dews and RH. It just strangles the moisture.

I figured there’d be a bunch of dry air for it to see it dissipate almost immediately.

Radar motion just doesn't really look like it is pulling moisture from the Gulf. It looks like that in TX is developing West to East.
