I’m walking outside in Br and some sprinkles are falling. No flurries yet for me

Edit- some sprinkles do appear to be flying around like a flurry.

im concerned if we do end up with 0.25" of ice, how will all the weakened trees from the hurricane hold up

We kinda had the opposite last year. We were in that especially hard hit strip with the freezing rain last year and had a mess with the trees (plus that weird storm with the down blowing microbursts that followed it whenever that was).

Then Ida hit and there was nothing weak enough left to get blown down. Even a few branches that looked to be dangerously dangling stayed put.

All the moisture is mostly offshore already except for that small line around Houston.

The band of precip you see on radar over Houston isn't reaching the ground. Been dry here all day.

Here’s my temp graph today. Sitting at 38 degrees currently and it’s still falling. My weather station gives a forecast and it’s predicting sleet and/or freezing rain starting around midnight and lasting through 10:00. I think that’s overdoing it

What's all that around San Antonio? The Big Bend?
