It's as if words have no meaning these days.

management at Sake Cafe Uptown say they're not buying it -- insisting Smith only had 1 glass of wine during the roughly 75 minutes he was at the restaurant.

Yep, he drank, then drove.

The implication of what you are saying is that he was drunk and drove. If that wasn't what you were implying, you wouldn't keep bringing it up. 1 glass of wine over a 75 minute period for a 280 pound man is significantly lower than the legal limit.

Until toxicology comes out to verify or disprove that, we only have restaurant management to go off of. They are no less valuable than any witness testimony at this point.

He wasn't thugging.
This board normally calls people who drive drunk "THUG POS." And this board also calls people who hit and run "THUG POS." It is interesting to see the change...

the truth. -had smith not drank and drived he would still be alive -had smith not hit and run he would still be alive -had smith not jumped out the vehicle and confront hayes he would still be alive -had smith not threatned he had a gun (according to witness) he would still be alive

You are missing a key point, none of those problems should lead to the death of someone. Yes Smith could have handled things better, but he didn't deserve to lose his life. What is so hard for y'all to understand? The guy was shot 8 times and his wife was shot. Nothing that happened that night should have resulted in someone getting murdered.

We have no idea if this is true yet. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

You're assuming he didn't have anything to drink prior to dinner. Wasn't the accident pretty late. and he was only at Sake for a little over an hour. There's no way of knowing until tox comes back.

This is, again, an unknown considering what little information is available. His attorney, just yesterday evening, gave a statement that could very well alter this entire case, if true. You guys are ridiculous in jumping to conclusions and making gigantic leaps with assumptions.

This probably happened in 3-4 seconds. A lot of people empty the clip when its first time they shoot someone.

I doubt he was standing there shooting Will.

POW! Want another
POW! Another?

Smith: please stop

Yep. He is making definitive statements, and then harping on us?

No, I am saying that the only verifiable drink that he had was the 1 glass. I also stated that we won't know until toxicology comes out.

It's why this whole thread is a shite show. Too many people making factual statements using their opinions. How hard is it to use words like "if", or "in my opinion"? Jesus Christ, we've gone full retard potato.

how do you know? Yeah I guess if you only want to consider the hit and run obviously nobody should be shot for a minor hit and run..

the "accident" may have very well been an accident. Won't even bring up the question about being intoxicated.

If it was a "hit and run", then they should be able to lift paint or see where Hayes' vehicle was impacted by Will Smith's vehicle.

So only after the FACTS come out will we know what happened.

What is unknown about the fact that a fender bender shouldn't cost someone their life?

Yes, there is a surveillance video, but it is not conclusive proof of contact between the vehicles. And Will Smith's lawyer has not admitted that they vehicles made contact.

Per the statements made in the Baton Rouge Advocate on 4/14/2016.

I do not assume anything. I would have to see proof. Even if Hayes was the instigator. It looks like it, but you would have to run the facts by me first.
