They were in process of arresting Hayes so it was not by much.
Also nopd is only in process of adding more charges to Hayes not less with the more info they are gathering.

Hayes deserves to spend the rest of his natural life in jail. If things even remotely happened like is being discussed Hayes started it and was the aggressor. Not to mention shooting the man in the back.
There's even clowns here saying that drew doesn't know what he's talking about. Do you really think he hasn't heard the whole story. I guarantee that he knows more about it than anyone posting here.

Then you know what he did, he called 911 and waited for the cops. (fact)

I don't think Drew said that Hayes called the cops after the shooting. But I do think Drew was speaking with a lot of anger and grief. He clearly wants to believe his friend is void of any wrong doing.
If he was smart he should keep those feeling in his circle.

I read that also but I thought he was referring to the hit and run.
He called the cops at the first hit and run scene and asked a witness to tell the cops what happened. Then followed Smith/Imapala.

my point is, what Drew said is total hearsay.
What has been reported as a fact is Hayes called 911 and didnt flee.
Now if he brutally gunned down Smith, then tried to get the wife, then Smith again, do you really think he'd call the cops and stick around? His actions jive more with self defense, or at least what he thought was self defense.

That supposed call was completely before he arrived on scene where shooting took place Lester, that proves zero innocence and to be frank, he prolly sounded like a stupid mother fricker on that call too
Drew also mentions shooter shooting at people in backseat too
