Some are more broken than others. And not everyone has the blessed life you seem to lead. Congratulations.

But without the perfect slidingstop life, most people are in fact fighting battles that no one else knows about.

Most would not take the Sky King route, because it was incredibly selfish. And I agree the online lionization of him can be a little over the top. With that said, I do believe he stands as a reminder that people (other than you of course) at many times in their lives can suffer. And many times it can look like there is not real way out of the suffering (except for you of course). Which is why my post mentioned checking on those close to you (which doesn't apply to you because of your blessed life).

I am just talking on the general public's perception of this incident, and why people don't look at what he did as a terroristic, violent act by a maniac. I am not talking about how I personally feel about it necessarily, but just trying to break down why, in human psychology terms, this guy isn't really villainized, but romanticized. I thought that I made that pretty clear in the first post you responded to.

While we are at it, can do away with "______ has entered the chat." ??? Its cringe.
