As a kid (70's) one of my great joys was a SI subscription and the one time of year the swimsuit issue came in the mail. I'd keep it hidden from my mother. It was hot for a kid my age.
I would always laugh in the weeks that would follow the magazine would get these letters from subscribers (they'd publish many) cancelling their subscription because of the smut trashy swimsuit issue. Thought it was stupid even at that age that people would get so upset over something so trivial...
But if I got the magazine with her on the cover after waiting a year to get it??? I'd write a letter and cancel my subscription

Let me get this straight, she realized that to maintain the body size needed to be a fashion model that she had to starve herself. Bravo to her for realizing this was unhealthy and deciding against it.
But I am going to call her out on the fact that she then did an equally unhealthy thing by becoming morbidly obese to fulfill her dream of being a model on the other end of the spectrum.
Neither the 114lb nor the 275lb version is the real Hunter McGrady. They are both garishly extreme versions of herself that she became solely to be famous.
That's sickening...and mildly tragic.

No doubt and I agree with you fully. Don’t take that one section out of context. She is way overweight and it is not due to body type...she gained the weight and in it’s current form is in no way attractive to me.
