I’m sure this has been discussed before but want to remind everybody. When your subscription expires, don’t renew at their regular price they automatically renew at. Call them and threaten to cancel unless they give you a promotion rate. A simple call this morning saved me $105.97 for 2 vehicles for 6 months. I was set to renew at $88.45 per vehicle and they just happened to have a promotion at $35.47 per vehicle for the 6 month period. So I renewed. If you don’t ask, you don’t get!!

Got a lifetime for $149 when they had a deal on them. Money well spent.

Honestly they have become too painful to deal with. It’s easier to use Spotify/Apple Music with CarPlay now.

Yeah, they’re almost phobic about losing a single customer. You can negotiate some really good deals with them.

I’m glad you posted this. My current subscription is up on the 22nd. Time to wheel and deal.

I cancelled mine this year. With podcasts and Spotify, it just isn’t necessary anymore.

And yeah, they offered me all kinds of promotions to stay and acted really shocked when I told them that I actually wanted to cancel.

Mine was coming up last month, had the free trial on my new tacoma, and was able to get it on mine and my wife's for 16 bucks a month, 8 per car, for a year. Not a bad deal imo.

You're paying too much

Do not pay more than $5 a month per vehicle

Same here. They call and let me know they will be charging me 180 for 6months. I say I would like to cancel and they give me 6 months for $30.

Yea.

Just last month mine was set to renew, I had an alarm on my phone set for the day before to call.

But honestly, 1 week before, they started sending me tons of email with the $5/month offer for 12 months this time, so I didn't even have to call this go round.

indeed.
Does not drive me crazy.
I accept it.
Only happens in my house radio though. Car manages to be less frequent.

Yes I have in house too.
Rural, mountains.
Otherwise static and poor reception.

2-3 times per week?

I've had Sirius since I got my car 2.5 years ago, and I swear to baby Jesus, it has had 1 total update in that time. It also took way longer than 1 minute.

now I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

I got a free trial when I bought my car. The amount of mail I get from them is absurd. I think they’ve stopped calling me from spoofed numbers finally though. They are the worst.
