My friendships are much more meaningful as I’ve grown older. I try to look after folks that could use a hand, widowed or elderly people that don’t have many people checking up on them. Something else that I found to be rewarding for me is to check a dog out from the shelter for a few hours, take it to a dog park or ball field where it can run for a while.

If you're not happy being single, you won't be happy being with someone. There are pros and cons to each.

When you're very happy being single, that's when women want to be with you(lol to suck out the joy and money out of you

After my divorce it was the greatest feeling ever. Especially finding out the kid we had together wasn't even mine. But not a few years later it does begin to get lonely.

Being sober also helps too. She was just a BPD psycho bitch. Don't date BPDs.

Well I'm old, so i don't need a bunch of people in my life, few close friends who are all like minded, we all talk daily, not married, no women in my life, last thing I need is drama, I got my dog, I enjoy my yard, watching the blue birds I have around the house, could i have more of course I like living a simple life

I honestly think I would be fine living alone. I have plenty of friends and family that I could visit and do things with. I have no problem eating out by myself, going to a movie by myself, hell even going to a ball game by myself.

I guess if it ever came to it I'd find out. If something ever happened to my wife my first instinct is I'd never get married again, but who knows I might feel differently after a spell.

Might wanna do a welfare check

This is why I try to tread carefully when dealing with strangers online. I "usually" only pile on if a poster has a history of being a good sport (like Oweo and Owlie for example).
You just never know what someone is really dealing with. And in this particular case it was evident this dude was not handling his post divorce right. Hopefully he just cut TD off

Only thing I can add to this is put a raincoat on your dick to not chance a surprise kid out of this equation.

Considering he went from a consistent poster to no post in 3 months, hope he found something more productive than TD vs the alternative
