I just love how a former rapper and admitted gang member is on the mayors advisory committee. It really says slot about our mayor.
How was she elected?? Couldn't have happened on black vote alone

I don't agree. They're just scared. Which is sad to watch but that's all it is. Posters like Will are shitting their pants and panicking.
They'll pretend like they're cool and just stirring things up to troll or whatever but if they'd step back and look at their posting lately, it's pretty obvious.

Yea how dare they have a bunch of officers available. They stereotyping blacks by assuming there will be trouble. Baseless assumptions

C. Denise just said on the Clarence Buggs show "we won't respond violence with violence, that won't be tolerated"

Per the 2010 census
quote:
The racial makeup of the parish was 49.5% White, 45.9% Black or African American, 0.3% Native American, 3.0% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 1.02% from other races, and 1.2% from two or more races. 3.8% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
I'm pretty sure the w/b percentages are fairly equal now.

Yep, mainly where they can get on here and say stupid stuff.

horrible field, low voter turn out, and she fooled some of the business community into backing her.

It WILL turn violent. North Baton Rouge has a lot of good people. But there is an element there that are disconnected from reality. All they know is violence and ghetto behavior. So many of the good people have left, they have started electing the fools.
It's a pathetic farce. They don't want justice. They want chaos.
The fact of the matter is they are continuing to push the contributors (black and white) closer and closer to the edge.
Those in the middle are picking sides.
It is only a matter of time before there is an unfortunate swing in the other direction.

I think it's sad that anyone should have to be legitimately scared that an entire community might riot and seek to cause social unrest over a fair and open application of due process.

Is it really that crazy of a reaction considering that ten months ago three police officers were killed due to this very case and the unreasonable response to it by groups within and outside of Baton Rouge and you now see those same groups rallying support and outside agitators flowing into town?

Yep. The mayor has a former gang banger on her advisory council, along with several other white-hating blacks.
You can't make this shite up. The city is so screwed.

No I don't think its crazy. Their reaction to their fear can be dangerous and cause just as many problems as those they're afraid of though.
I get it. It's human nature. That being said, they should probably calm down a bit.
