But it killed a baby. And Pitbulls were bred to kill babies. Who cares what it looks like, it's a pit.

I know about those kisses. Here's mine.
With my experience and research with the breed, I love them. The biggest problem is with bad breeders and people that breda more aggressive version. There's a reason they were THE all-American dog until the 50s, and were used in countless advertisements. Here's the American government using a pit for ww1 propaganda...
A well raised pit has great, outgoing personality. A bad one is vicious as hell. But I'd still rather a mean pit attack me, than a men German Shepard or Rottweiler. I can defend myself against a 50-70 pound dog. A 120+ pound dog would immediately tear me to shreds.
