Germany has nearly the same elderly population as Italy and has tested more people than any Western nation. Their mortality rate is 0.3%. I am not saying that is good but it exponentially better then the doom and gloomers are predicting.

I'm not sure if its the same article as you linked, but I read an article about this that speculated its # of nurses per capita is why. Because germany has way more nurses than most countries or most in the world or something

The article also notes that Germany has had better and higher rates of testing for longer, giving a more accurate picture of the mortality rate. If anything, the rate remains overstated given that people have been infected and not tested.
