Shut down guidelines make no sense

At the grocery store when checking out you have to keep a six foot distance between you. Makes sense. Yet while shopping in the store you are literally bumping into people and most of the time just inches apart!
If a restaurant is open it’s 25% capacity and you have to sit way away from other tables. Yet they let you get on a crowded airplane sitting next to each other in rows of three!
Stores are open but not museums which normally are the most spacious areas to go and visit other than outdoor parks. You can say museums are not essential but neither are 75% of other stores open now. You’re telling me The Party Store is essential?
The guidelines for this virus are completely contradictory and utter nonsense. I get the masks and social distancing but it’s not being enforced across the board. Insanity.
What’s next? Next order will be to stay at least 25 feet away from any person in your vicinity but it’s okay to run up to them and cough and sneeze in their face. That’s not far off from what’s going on now.

Some people like power and control and fear is a great way to accomplish that goal. There is little to no logic to any of the measures taken so far, and if a person with merely average intelligence would sit down and think about it, they would realize that fact. Some intelligent people are simply followers, so they don't engage their critical thinking skills. There are just too many people who are too stupid, lazy, or followers to turn the tide against the small minority of people that are leading down this path. This is the reason wars happen.

It's almost all about perception and optics. What looks good, what appears to be the most sensitive approach or gives the illusion of saving lives.

Another stupid opening rule applied to gyms opening in the N.O. area.
You have to wear a mask when entering or leaving but you can remove it when exercising. So you and 10 other folks are on treadmills or stationary bikes huffing, puffing and sweating as you get your cardio going and that's just fine.
