Shreveport won't live up to the others but it won't be too bad. It might be nice to be at a place that isn't so overwhelming with activity. The downtown area is decent enough for a few days.

If y'all do end up going out in Shreveport make sure you rock as much glittery affliction clothes as possible to blend in downtown. Wear ill fitting suit jackets with jeans if Superior Steakhouse is more your crowd.
Strange brew is a pretty legit bar, if it's even still open I haven't been in a couple of years.

Just stay home, throw your money down the drain and hit yourself in the balls with a golf club if Shreveport is your idea of a good time.

So if they go to a casino you're going to bail and fish?
Sounds like you're lucky to have been invited initially. Smh

Anyone can have fun in S'port for three days. Just avoid certain parts of town.

Gambling is motivation for two of them. I can bass fish on the lakes right?

I haven't bass fished since the 90s because I'm salty now in FL but I loved it as a kid and would love to break some bass necks again.

Either go north of downtown or south of the Jimmy Davis bridge

I'd hire a guide. Much easier than transporting equipment.

This is actually not a terrible idea. Hackberry Rod&Gun can hook you up with a good time. In early fall you can teal hunt in the morning and fish in the afternoon.
