It’s just a whole bunch of reactionary “traders” panicking. Do the opposite and you’re fine long term.
Warren Buffett isn’t a reactionary trader, and he is sitting on more than 200 billion in cash waiting for the right buying opportunity.

my favorite part of today is when everyone tried to get on and sell this morning, and the daddy trading platforms, all at once, said ah...yeah, what account?

Not if you know how it works

Well, I'm completely out of stock market so nbd. However, I wanted to warn my kids last week to switch to lower risk and bonds but did not. I missed the last 2 big collapses as well by switching just at the right time. Lucky.

I was always told to look at it like a marathon, not a sprint. I'm just trying to work through this cramp. And I hope I don't poop my pants.

I might have to crapped myself on that one. Hang in there.

Not unless you liquidated everything. Here's to tomorrow being green!

Well the S&P has for sometime now been trending way above actual corporate profits. No need to jump. There will be additional volatility.

You planning to retire tomorrow?
If not, chill.
If not, chill.

Actually...2 months from now...not looking promising...and after all these years of work that truly pisses me off.

Damn. Should have switched to CDs and short term bonds with the higher interest rates.
That said, the S&P rebounded from every crash this size 5 of the last 6 times and the 6th time it recovered within a year.

The SP500 is up 1.75% on the day, if the -5.21% downturn of the SP500 index over the last month (after hitting record highs, up 16.91% over the last year) has ruining your decade long retirement plan, I don't think you had much of a retirement anyway.
