My money is on a crawfish spread. Maybe some boiled crawfish, some seafood gumbo, and etouffee. That would be pretty sweet to see in the White house. They would have to get the chefs from Drago's or somewhere to cook it.

Never understood why people want to go to a different part of the country to eat the poorly imitated cuisine of where they're from.

I say some of the tailgating chefs that cook some of the best food in the worst possible conditions should setup shop on the west lawn of the White House and cook up some tasty Louisiana specialties for the Trump and the team.

They can even get some seafood shipped from the Bayou too. I am pretty sure Dean Blanchard would have some connections.

Said the uncultured Missouri swine.
With Missouri’s many oceans, no wonder y’all can’t cook seafood for shite. It’s like getting sushi at a gas station and saying all sushi is bad.

True, Missouri doesn't have culture but Louisiana does. And I've never had seafood that wasn't cooked in Missouri because it's literally impossible to travel outside of the state. And you can't eat at a restaurant outside of the state if you can't travel outside of the state.

My wife often fantasizes about her (Haitian) uncle's paella and it's no bad as far as seafood goes, but it's still seafood. It has "the smell".

It may not be for their official meal during the visit.
But I think it would be cool to bring a local chef with them to whip up a Gumbo or Etouffee for the First Family to enjoy.

When u travel to other parts of the country u learn that there are people that cook amazing food with things other than. Cayine pepper and “Tony’s”.

I go very easy on the cayenne. Don’t use Tony’s except on burgers. We use lots of onioins, garlic, garlic, peppers and green onions. And parsley.

No they didn't. They did it for every single team that visited since he took office. He said "that's what college kids eat"

It's also what he eats.

I didn’t call it epic but you’re correct. If boiling crawfish is epic, what the hell word do you describe the travels of Magellan or Columbus or Polo

Fast food burgers were served that one time st the Whitehouse because it was during a government shutdown. The federal budget was not extended so all on essential federal employees were sent home. That included Whitehouse chefs and staff. There was no one available to prepare food for the team, so the fast food feast was put together, that is the only reason that was done.

Na, man. Molly from First Take said it was racist.
