Odd that you feel that way about your insurance company because an agent is successful and you have zero clue how they are compensated or what other sources of income they have
There are plenty of direct options that don't involve agents

State Farm pays auto claims w/o drama.
I rarely have had claims, but the best shops ate SF approved.
I wouldn't use SF for homeowners'. Chubb for that, but they use Safeco for auto, which is horseshite.
