LSU did their homework and found the best company to oversee their operation. Southern just sold to the highest bidder without any consideration other than the short term money.
This was an opportunity for southern to create a cash cow to support the rest of the university for years to come but instead of seeing the big picture, they tried to squeeze as much money out of it in the short term.
Eerily similar to the farming situation in Zimbabwe
