Actually its $8.70 cents as in one person bought a ticket to see the movie at its debut in the UK.
The film screened at a single theater, Reel Cinema in Burnley, England, and according to the cross platform measurement company ComScore, raked in £7, or about $8.70.
Who else smells a Sequel coming with earning like this?

If I was the one guy that bought the ticket, I would have made it known that I didn't even go see the movie. That's even worse than nobody buying tickets at all

I heard about this earlier today and didn't bother looking at the details. For some reason I thought it was a movie that he produced/directed/starred in and that it was just coming out. Apparently it already released elsewhere late last year/early this year. It also has Gary Oldman, Kate Mara, and Jai Courtney. People were making it seem like it was Shia's movie, when in reality he just had top billing.
