Yeah, his cousin Rusty was a year ahead of me in school. Randy was a year behind me. We all went to the same school.
The award winning actor, Pruitt Taylor Vince graduated in my class. 1978. He's been in a ton of movies, and had roles in Deadwood, and Walking Dead to name a couple. He never comes to the reunions, though.

My dad was the president of the club before he died in 06. He loved that place. I used to meet him there for lunch on Thursdays for fried chicken. We actually had his funeral there and poured his ashes into the lake on hole 11. They named the lake after him. Good times.

I remember him. My dad was on the board. I still keep in touch with a lot of those guys. I practically grew up at that club, and worked there from like '05 until it closed.

Passed by it this morning. Hit the feels.

My grandfathers initials were CF
Anytime me and my brother would show up at the club we got the royal treatment.

Deleware Punches on the house and we got to sit in the mens only bar area.

4th and Newyears fireworks at SFCC were the best. Spacewalks, all the food you could stand.

I'm gonna have to think about that one. I knew EVERYONE there.

Both my dad and I's initials are DM. And neither of us are David Marchand

Rich kid? Hickory Ridge was considered the fancy new area of town? It starts off of the same Sherwood Forest Blvd that's been discussed in the entire thread...

I grew up with them on Wingate a few houses down. Used to hang out with Will. He was a year younger and Jan (your mom?) was a year or two older.

Lots of stories from those days.

Jimbos was good stuff. Beer and Skoal flavor packs in high school.

Is that Chinese Buffet place still on airline? Across from the bowling alley.

The Lake behind the Old Admiral Benbow Inn (off Sherwood) had lake behind it, we called "the reservoir", it had a big rope swing. I got my truck stuck in the mud behind the swing, so I went and borrowed my Dad's van, got it stuck too. Great Times!!!

Also Oak Manor Motel (where Home Depot is now) sweet rooms for Prom!!
