All good options but the new hotel in front of Southgate Towers looks intriguing with a short walk to the stadium.

Park at the old Box, take a short walk to the back of the stadium and enter the left field fence (Homerun bleachers) gate.

For those with children, how many parents are taking their kids, so that even if they do not understand the significance of the event, one day they will and be thankful?

It can't be set up any better. Opening night, new stadium, number one ranking. Like the old beer commercial..... It just doesn't get any better than this.

Same rules apply however I assume they will be enforced ( at the beginning ) If it is the same Marshals it will be only a matter of time before the rules are relaxed.
Checking tne kids out of school. We want to be there no later that 3:00. Does anyone know if the gates are going to open earlier that the normal 2 hours before?
and for how long? Informal survey.
Just talked to the ticket office and they will be sent out next week.

Has it ever been addressed of why the placement of the scoreboard is in left field, which restricts viewing from the homerun bleachers, and not in center or right center where it can be viewed by the entire crowd?
Carl's a good guy and a capable umpire. He did a lot of games at Cypress Mounds when it opened and some lower level high school games too. As dedicated and loyal as a fan that he is I thought it was a class act by Mainieri to let him work the scrimmage.
