Well she said they announced on the flight there are already some planes in holding patterns.

I told her she might get diverted to Austin but she never listens to me

Full throttle or circle around for a little while. Hope she makes it in.

And she won't have to deal with any spin ups on the bottom edge of that line on the way home.

Staying in Dallas this week for an orientation, last couple of days have been eventful. Can't get through an inning of baseball without a severe weather warning interruption.

Yeah. It’s that cell that I’m staying awake for. Everything so far has stayed north of us.

I would like to go to sleep, but it’s looking like some pretty nasty stuff is going to hit me around 11. Doubt I’ll be able to fall asleep before then...

I’ve been up later every night this week waiting and it’s fizzled. Likely won’t go to bed until at least 11:00 tonight though. That’s some nasty lines moving your way.

Nothing actually looks severe coming into Dallas area right now. Out east of Dallas, yeah as the line bends back to the north it's rocking. Dallas and it's burbs look in for some hours of steady heavy rain and plenty of lightning. Not bad for sleep if you ask me.

ETA: Going to be plenty of flash flood warnings rolling out in the next three hours.

I’m in the far northwestern area of FW, literally on the Tarrant/Denton County line(we pay split taxes). We’ve just had a decent storm, but it’s let up a good bit now. Radar is showing some nasty looking stuff heading towards me a little after 11.

DirecTv just went out. Coming down pretty hard and the wind is whipping.

Score still 4-1?

Stuff is firing up just south of downtown now. I'm about to get hit with something.

Edit: over uptown now.

Front edge spin ups wouldn't be surprising, but aren't likely to spend much time on the ground if any.

Just keeping an eye out for flood warnings at this point really.
