Sea breeze fronts. Some of them make it all the way up to Monroe/Shreveport.

Summer afternoon showers are one thing, but dumping 3 inches of rain every day is a bit much

i heard they said on the news there was over 4000 lightning strikes in less than 5 minutes yesterday. One of them hit the house on the street behind me and caught it on fire. Had 4 fire trucks there and still took more than an hour to get it under control. house was gone by then.
