Dead arse serious. In my bathroom right now with the power out. Can hear the wind whipping like crazy. Any idea when this thing is supposed to pass.

I am home for lunch on the northwest side of Alexandria and it’s getting sketchy as hell outside
I used to live just off the Monroe Hwy in Ball (on the other side of the train tracks from Pineville)
had a weak tornado hit me there back in the Spring late at night... was out of power for 2 days

That tornado is gonna take out the cop sitting on 49 north of Alex waiting for speeders.

It should be in your area later on.
But not as severe though, right? Or are they expecting the enhanced and moderate risk to spread southward?

It’s not gonna be as bad through southeast La tonight. It’s gonna squall up. Central La is a sweet spot today.

It looks like it's pretty much over I-49 right now.

I wasnt following this earlier but it seems the NWS came out with a more alarming report just as the super cells started firing.

It’s near the Pineville airport now

BR still showing slight/enhanced.
My personal rule of thumb for situations such as this is you aint safe until the front is past you

For the BR area??
I don't think they expect it to get as bad as what Cenla is going through right now. We still can expect some severe weather later this afternoon with the potential for something damaging to develop.
Today's afternoon commute is gonna be fun.
EDIT: Tornado's on the east side of Pineville for those of you in the area.
