Passed just a about five miles north of me. We’re very close to Natchitoches Parish line.

Got friends in Farmerville. Thanks for the heads-up.

thunderstorms moving into CenLA
Posted on 4/7/21 at 7:22 pm to Bobby OG Johnson
They went with a severe thunderstorm warning instead of tornado warning. Current tornado warning expires in 10 minutes and the rotation is almost out of the polygon.
Those are the only two warnings in the whole line of storms right now.

Nope. They issued a new tornado warning on top of/within the severe thunderstorm warning.

Heads-up to OT member Deltaland. May pass by you if it stays together.

They've put "Radar Confirmed Tornado" in the warning discussion now. That's really the only way it can be confirmed, because it is probably rain-wrapped.
There's not an obvious TDS with it, either.

What a cluster the warnings on this storm have been. They tagged a 30+ minute tornado warning with "Radar Confirmed Tornado" on the ground. Now, they managed to get a spotter to confirm it, and they're going with "A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado...."

Need to watch the cell trailing it just east of bastrop. It’s getting a hook and has nothing south to impede it

No rotation at all on it right now.

I don’t have the advanced radar that shows rotation I was just judging by the shape.
