Been getting 6 to go every weekend during the quarantine.

Impressive.

I just want to go listen to live music and have a couple drinks.

I have mine programmed by county and set to only give me watches and warnings for severe thunderstorms and tornados. Otherwise it goes off all day.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I wish alerts factored in zip codes impacted. The second severe thunderstorm warning that I got was for the opposite side of Dallas County.

Lava Cantina is definitely a great place for that. Mostly cover bands, but that's normally my go-to for live music.

The Rustic down in Uptown Dallas is nice, but a little too much country for my taste

My group has been waiting to go to some place in Prosper for live music. That’s a no for me. WTH wants to drive 1/2 way to Oklahoma on 2 lane roads to go drink?

No clue. No need to leave the Plano/Frisco area for anything. Ever.

Except back to LA on the weekends for football.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned the term derecho in regards to the severe thunderstorm outbreak that's in progress. I wonder if the system will qualify for that label.

I don't think there have been baseline straight line winds with qualifying velocity and continuity for this system to qualify. Seems like there have been gaps. I could be wrong, though.

It’s jumping off out in NE TX. Was planning on hitting the lake on the AM but currently unsure.
