I had no idea we were talking about an MMA type fight. I thought the OP sad a NHB street fight in which Tyson fought many of growing up.
I agree a simple boxer would be at a disadvantage in a MMA setting but Tyson was more than a simple boxer too.

I'm out. No man ever could beat this MMA unicorn.

Lee knew wrestling. Part of his training regiment was grappling.
A lot of misunderstanding on both parties. As far as Tyson goes, he is a head case. His downfall began when his trainer died, his marriage, and all the fame and money. I guess we are assuming they are both in their prime though. Watching Tyson fight with Cus in the corner was a thing of beauty. He took an insane brawler who wasn't afraid to get hit and turned him into a champion brawler. That being said, Lee was powerful, disciplined, and had a bigger skill set. People really should read his bio and study up on Jeek Kun Do. Wrestling and submissions were very much part of his training regimen. Comparing Lee to today's fighters is a bit of apples and oranges. He was a pioneer of MMA and applying nutritional science to his training regiment. So saying he doesn't stack up to today's fighters is like saying Edison's light bulb doesn't stack up to modern light bulbs and he isn't worth a shite. Back to the point, Tyson has a punching skill set going up a form of martial arts that uses attacks to defend. Tyson does not win this fight.

Good because that is basically all you need to know.

MT we actually have a proven track record of fights to gauge and just going by that I think he breaks BL in half if and when he catches him.
If. And that is the only argument here. I think Bruce lands a foot before Tyson lands a fist. That simple. Lee's legend may be exaggerated a bit, but so is Tyson's. I love some mike, but he knocked out tomato cans & got destroyed by the 2 great boxers he faced

Granted MMA fights and street fights aren't exactly the same, but I would think someone who is more of an MMA fighter would have an advantage in a street fight.

Honest question:
Can someone provide a link or post factual information stating the strength and speed of Lee
I don't know too much about him so I would like to see how fast and strong he actually was.

He did but he was also a basket case by that point and was out of shape compared to when Cus d'amato was still around as said earlier.

I don't doubt that Lee was an incredible fighter and tactician. I don't doubt that he beat up scores of Chinese dudes on the street, but I don't think they had animals like Tyson coming after him. I doubt he ever legitimately fought a dude that weighed 200 lbs

Tyson would absolutely destroy Bruce Lee. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. The dude was heavyweight champion of the world at REAL fighting...not some choreographed movie bullshite. He was also 100 pounds heavier and as fast as anyone in his prime. This whole argument is a joke.

Lee would have fought with honor, while Tyson was trying to bite his ear off too

You think Tyson, growing up poor in Brooklyn and also was arrested 38 times by 13 from fighting and shite, just forgot what he learned from being in those fights as a young boy?

You can't use this against Tyson since there no evidence of Lee fighting against other professionals.
