I like Banana Republic pants a lot. I'm thinner and they tend to fit slimmer without having to get "skinny" versions.
But not a huge fan of their dress shirt selection. Just the patterns and everything get's a little too hipster for me. And I'm not completely opposed to venturing away from my frat roots. I've got some J Crew shirts I wear that are decent looking and cheap comparatively.
Most of my dress shirts are BB though. Roundtree and York Gold Label slim fit is a good shirt as well that isn't way out there in price. I even have some Jos. A Bank traveler shirts that aren't terrible.
I have to have a button down collar as well. Don't mind the no-button look, but after a few washings, it doesn't look as "crisp" anymore without a tie and I don't care for it. So I save those for when I wear ties or a sweater (sweater basically holds the collar in place anyway)

Well, when I was in the woods I ate wild roots and berries and wore camo paper bags and nutria pelts, but when I started to work with people in the work world I found it best to start giving a shite how I looked since I was representing more than just me, but the company and products I represented.

It is odd. It's almost as if there our dudes out there who like to take care of themselves and not look slovenly and unkempt.
