Sorry, not all of us are OK with people running around using such an ugly word regardless of skin color.
You are apparently OK with it as long as people you consider inferior are doing it.
We don't consider black folk inferior and are holding them to the same standards as whitey.
The word is either shite or it's not....hint: That word is shite and should be retired by everyone.....

The problem is you're not making a coherent point and if you answered my line of questions, I'd prove that.
But feel free to avoid answering. Really shows your support of this "argument"
You're not really a guy that can see the forest before you see the trees kinda guy. This isnt about one word nor have I advocated for equality on one word. I have stated that we have a double standard on racism and that all should be held accountable equally where need be applied. Wrong is wrong no matter which way it goes.

Very true. My son was watching LSU with me one evening and we were not doing good and I let some profanity slip. and he said "dad, I kind of want to say D-A-M-N, is that okay?"
And I told him only when LSU is losing
Has he developed the ability to cuss in rhyme yet ?

Show me where i definitively and clearly said what you're claiming.
My argument is that this argument is stupid and hurts the ability to have a discussion about the real issues.
Your argument is that you want to be able to drop n bombs at will or make it illegal or something stupid

I dont personally care about words. I'm not an emotional thinker who gets upset about them.
But I do care about arguments, as I've said a few times in this thread.
And I hate equity, which you're promoting

Was it intended to be racist in this incident?
I can't possibly know someone else's intent.

Do black people who use it casually as vernacular intend it as racist?
Yes.

You're not making an actual point. You're trying to be clever and making non-argument gotchas just like what Leftists do.
Nope. I'm making the only argument that matters.

Perhaps you're too stupid to see that the argument about this word is a symptom of a larger disease and is a part of much larger, "real" issues.
You lack the mechanism to understand that apparently.
I don't want people using that word, you think it's ok based on skin-color of Victim-Olympics status.
You do you....

I dont know do they? Do you know how to tell if they are or are not? I await "The Ministry of Truth's" reply.

Don't be obtuse. No one is really defending this twat, or pretending she wasn't being actually racist with it. She's a dumb old cracker bitch secretary who probably hasn't had her wrinkly old twat plowed since Bush was in office. Probably half drunk and made the dumbass mistake of sending her stupid hurr-Durr joke to the wrong person.
What people are annoyed with is the LARGER context, where some silly white girl sings a part of a song, with ZERO malice intended, and gets publicity excoriated, losing her scholarship and who knows what else, the modern day equivalent to being tarred and feathered, when you damn well know no one was actually, truly offended.
But a football player says it in a hateful manner, it's picked up on live TV, and no one says boo.
Now personally, it's fine with both. Context-singing a stupid song and playing a violent football game.
But don't punish one and ignore the other. We need to just stop giving a shite if younger people use it in a not malicious context, regardless of their race. The word has evolved

And his racist arse keeps tripling down on his stupidity.
Non-racists don't want ANYBODY using that nasty word, he's OK with it depending on ones' skin-color.
Hes' too stupid to see that his argument is racist to the core.

I do see that.
I also see it's a pointless hill to die on that increases the risk of credibility with having the discussions/arguments with people who matter about the larger issues.
A better idea is to *drumroll* focus on the big issues directly.
Of course, that would limit emotional responses and sky screaming, so it's not favored.

I don't personally care.

If this lady is fired, she should sue.
The first records she should request in discovery are any and all videos of football practices where music is played (or isn't played).
Or any other practices this coach is involved in. I guarantee he's been in ear shot of people using that word, on video, regularly.

Double standards and white Liberal women such as yourself who are OK with people using racist words as long as they check certain boxes is a part of those "big issues".

You're literally complaining over equity. You want to mandate equal outcomes.

Fair point. I suppose it's more an annoyance to how the uttering of one word (used every day by some people) is now used as a justification for violence, for destroying their life and livelihood. It's the feigned outrage at it.
I'm not a proponent of going around saying it at all. But you can't say it's fine for some (and that it's okay for those people to use any racial slur they choose) but the Absolute worst thing for another.
I hear your point completely. For the record, I fall on this issue differently than most other people, including other black folks. Context matters, imo. For myself, I consider the N-word a homophone, basically. We use homophones everyday in the English language. There's no confusion there. Why can't we view the N word the same way.
The first word is spelled ..gga. The context of it being used in rap songs or basically any black person. It's a term of endearment. It's synonymous with my brother, my friend, my buddy, etc. In this definition, anyone can be your N, even people of other races. "That's a good solid dude right there, that's my N, love him to death". Another context, it can refer to basically any black male in general. Many times it may have more negative connotations. For example, a black woman may say, "I'm so tired of N, all they care about is sex".
The 2nd context is spelled ...ger. I don't need to bore you all with a history lesson. I know you already know. In general, the way I see it, people who use the word in this context are being racist. It let's me know that's probably not someone I'd want to be friends with. It's not that the word offends me, personally. But I view it as blatant disrespect to my grandparents, my great-grandparents who actually experienced some actual real life racism in their lives growing up.
I do hate when black people try to pretend that a white person is being racist when they know the context they used the word in. They are being 100% hypocritical. Personally, I have no issue if you wanted to call me your N. It doesn't bother me when white people use the N word in obviously non racist contexts. It shouldn't bother anyone. Especially if they weren't being disrespectful to anyone.
Sorry for the long ramble, hope this wasnt an Oweo level post
