I was racially profiled for a crime once and it was a pretty horrifying experience. I'm white. Someone who was breaking into cars apparently looked like me.

You will definitely get profiled if you're a white dude in a black neighborhood especially the projects. I'm a white guy that grew up in New Orleans in the 90s and ran the streets. I always got fricked with when I was in a black neighborhood or driving through the projects.
And I'll also say that he's absolutely right about black cops being harder on black suspects. However, for a white guy, black cops are way easier to deal with than white cops. White cops are fricking assholes. Just about every one of them I've ever dealt with.
But frick him for attacking Marcus Lattimore and defending a clear violation of his 4th amendment rights against illegal search and seizures. I truly believe that routine and wanton abuse of the fourth amendment by police departments all across the United States is the biggest problem both in law enforcement, their relationship with the public and the integrity of the law enforcement profession.

You will get pulled over in a heartbeat in a project or a rough Black neighborhood. The police automatically assume you are buying or selling dope.
