1. She does definitely need the help doing her JOB
2. Of course these people will selectively pick the candidates that THEY want, but it can't be any worse than her only criteria for the job.

Eh, SWB doesn't want to actually make the decision because she doesn't want to get blamed if the CAO turns out to be a flop. She's got absolutely no spine and is always setting up a fall guy. The buck never stops with her.
