I’m on board for a cooler summer.

Maybe the climate alarmists will notice the cause and effect.

Talkeetna, the tiny town that inspired Northern Exposure, is about 100 miles northeast of there.
One summer I took a glacier landing flight out of Talkeetna. I still have a sweatshirt that says, "Talkeetna Air Taxi."

One year our whole family went to the start of the Iditarod and spent the night in Talkeetna in order to see the Aurora Borealis.

Sweet. Have a cruise booked for AK next month. Might not be as boring as I thought.

Watch for the tsunami; you may get more adventure than you bargained for.

I used to go out with a girl who had family in Wasilla, which is just North of Anchorage. I begged her to go, and she relented, but said the hour drive would be boring.

I blame this on Alaska's Ranked Choice Voting scam.

Them late that evening I grabbed some drinks and walked to the edge of town where the two rivers meet and got a buzz while staring at the whitewater with Denali in the back ground.

Its beautiful.

First time I was there, two women were bathing nude in the river. They talked to us in normal conversation while washing.

Lived in anchorage, earthquakes and volcanos are always a possibility yet people there don’t worry about it. The people who move there from the lower 48 go crazy every time the earth shakes.

Are you trying to tell me centuries ago the residents spoke English? Hell they didn’t even have a written alphabet and spoke in gibberish coupled with sign language for realities sake.

Well you'd thought that old gold miner would have dug into the records and the entire history of the region, Interviewed the nearby villages and done a world wide study of anyone who ever ventured through the area. Dang miners.
