I'm quoting the article might have misheard. Perhaps one molecule of methane has the same greenhouse effect as 25 molecules of carbon. I'll check and edit as necessary

They've been talking about doing this since 2002. I'm sure longer.
Couple things: DNA for a dinosaur is already gone. Last dinos left 60 million years ago. Woolly mammoths were still roaming when the Egyptian Empire was up and running.
Second, the idea - initially - was to take an elephant embryo and add hair. Then about a couple years ago they made a discovery. In Siberia a frozen woolly mammoth was found. The ice preserved it and scientists were able to take blood samples from the woolly mammoth.
So, stay tuned.
