I kinda like that guy. Seems like he's been on every popular science show on cable for the last decade or more. Hes a good communicator. Even if his name does sound more like he'd be a killer whale than a scientist.
I just hope that god doesn't end up being some 3 headed leopard god or something that's pissed because human sacrifices and burning people at the stake have fallen out of favor.

Sometimes I think that if it's all part of a designed deal, than the final end product is as far away from us as we are from say earthworms or crawfish.

Well, I'd like to breed with a few fine gals of my choice if that's the plan. I wish they'd let us in on it, if there is a master plan though.

He never said he proved that God exists.
He thinks he has proof that we live in an artificial construct. Could be a number of things, most of which we can't even comprehend. It could be a computer simulation (the Matrix), it could be that we live in a fake galaxy created by aliens (Truman Show). The aliens could be a civilization of beings or they could be machines or maybe it just one singular alien and we live entirely in its personal computer or bedroom aquarium.

Well, when I was younger and teeth started falling out of my head, I proved that there was indeed a tooth fairy that swapped enamel for metal. I never witnessed the fairy myself, nor did anyone else for that matter, but was told and taught by other believers which helped shape my belief in it. All I had to do was have faith. Faith in that a fairy would would want my discarded teeth in exchange for money. AND IT DID! Its faith that the non believers don't have.
