Scientifically speaking...is everything we're currently doing just fighting evolution?

Putting the lives of the young and virile on hold so the old and sick can live.
I mean technically speaking the young and virile can certainly pass on their genes during all this, but the other half of that equation is giving their offspring the best shot at life they can...and that certainly ain't the case right now.
Call me heartless but I'm just analyzing all of this through Darwin's eyes.

Just Mother Earth trying to control overpopulation

The young and virile are dying at a rapid pace right now

According to the dead guy in the hard rock and latoya Cantrell it’s trumps fault

No. This is my theory. We have evolved in a mental capacity that has made the "physically weak" stronger than before. And we have adapted through medical advancements. So doing what we are doing is part of us evolving.

Odd. I thought republicans were against death panels. Isn’t that a form of evolution too?

You make a decent point. These pandemics have blown through and cleaned house in the past. It’s a tricky subject. Does evolution include scientific advancement?

Of course, it's the same for those that exist on public welfare and reproduce without injury or a job and yet are supported by taxpayers. We prop up the weak and vulnerable.
There are different takes on this subject, but it's definitely a topic that doesn't get enough discussion by biologists and the scientific community.

Yes.
Many moons ago I got stuck representing the management side on our department's OH&S committee. A co-worker and I had to go take this God-awful boring as hell four-day long course about the laws governing OH&S and shite. On the last day, just before we left, the instructor said "Are there any more questions?" My co-worker asked "What's the point?" The instructor asked what do you mean? Co-worker says "Aren't accidents just nature's way of weeding out the sick and stupid?"
Point is, we try to legislate stupid and lack of common sense. We need to stop that and just let things go where they may. If someone thinks it's a good idea to try and unclog a jam in an industrial shredder by kicking it in with their feet, I say let them go for it.

The weak have been allowed to survive due to medical advancements, unfortunately for them it isn’t working well against the Chinese virus.

Well, I'm not sure. I just post scripture memes on FB just in case. That will help .

nope but you believing in evolution shows how easy it is to brainwash people with obvious nonsense.
