What the hell are you talking about? The shooting just last week had two officers on campus. Is that not "real security"?

It is 2018, the antiquated schoolhouse concept needs to go the way of the dodo

Santa Fe had 3 armed officers from what I recall.

Did not know that...then that's two.

Well, there are no schools that have an armed officer at every single entry point, so not sure your point here.

I'm not suggesting that at all...but maybe starting with locked doors first and move up? Again, my son's elementary school was wide arse open with no one in any security position at all. My son's new high school has a locked front entry way and you need to be buzzed in by office staff...but tin this case the school was designed and built very recently, so I'm sure the layout took this aspect in mind.

First step would seem to be installing a one way lock on the door, so that people could be allowed in. Maybe install a camera there so office staff can see them in the office is not within eye shot of the front door?

I'm simply suggesting viable, doable first steps BEFORE attempting to disarm the populace, which besides being a complete pipe dream would be years and years away even under the best case scenarios. Until we work the problem from the standpoint of things which are actually feasible, the hand wringing by many seems more like political opportunism than an actual desire to help prevent these shootings.

GODDAMMIT.

Why haven't we outlawed school shootings yet and banned weapons on campus.

These school shootings are more about mental health or aberrant behavior as a product of today's society in America.

A 7th grader with a gun.......

Honestly, another problem, is the gun owners themselves.

But we cant talk about that

Sandy Hook

The Sandy Hook shooting is an anomaly.

As far as I can recall it is the only school shooting in which the shooter was not a current or former student.

And it was an elementary school.

And he shot his way into the school.

And many of the Sandy Hook parents have coincidentally been at other mass shootings over the years.

Just kidding on the last one.

So are you agreeing with the libs, and you think gun control will stop this from happening?

Or, are you saying the libs are secretly behind all of the school shootings in order to push gun control?

I think you may be on to something. The shooters are sleeper agents that the libs programmed to perpetrate school shootings in order to further their own agenda.

You know what really helps them further their agenda? Moronic statements like yours.
