I guess my “issue” is what is the problem with the hair. Kids are there to learn. Why did the school feel the need to put the policy in place. Yes rules are rules, but who is she bothering that this rule needed to be made in the first place. Open your book and study.
The rule is no fake hair. She showed up with fake hair even after being given a notice about it. The racial shite is just at all time high now and some people don't believe in rules. The school has a policy. Yes, this girl's hair doesn't seem like a problem but the rule exists so they don't end up having a fricking hair-do off with girls trying to outdo each other. This is a private school though so the parents can be told to frick off. Black folks not sending their kid to a private Catholic school won't make that place go under. I promise.

Soon every law or rule will be deemed racist

The girls can return for now.

Judge Piper Griffin has ordered them to appear in court on Sept. 6 to discuss why the injunction shouldn't be extended further.
And this judge should be removed from the bench for overreaching his power.
Now the school system has to use resources to defend itself in front of this a-hole to protect the obvious right of the school to determine its own rules. The disruption is now on the entire school and maybe even beyond to other schools for one or two persons who knew the rules going in and giving opportunity to comply.

Wait, you’re surprised that they’re catering and bending over backwards for these people? Have you been in a coma for the past decade?
They’re going to erect a statue for this brave, courageous mother/daughter combo

So a judge can now order a private school to admit someone against their policies? Harvard here I come.

We had to shave daily if necessary. Hell, there were a few occasions I was given the option to take a single blade razor and bar of soap and go shave in the bathroom, or be sent home and be given lunch duty.
frick that shite!!!
I had a full beard my junior and senior years of high school. Was for alcohol buying purposes. Never got carded.

Not surprised at all... renegade judges are a huge problem in our justice system and should be called out on their overreach.
But can an Orleans parish judge even enforce an injunction on a school out of its district? I understand the Archdiocese is based in New Orleans but the accused faux injury happened in Jefferson parish.

I’m pretty sure the judge did that so the courts can decide if this is discrimination based on race.

Seems everything is discrimination based on race when convenient

Id love to kick the judge in the nuts.
This whole thing is stupid. The parents are just teaching their kid to be a victim.
The school should just tell them to f off and go somewhere else.

That area off of Whitney is sketchy as hell too. The area I assume named for the Manning's?
Cooper is the main entrance Eli is the first street. ,Deerfield is a prime example of the wrongs of putting that many units designated low income on a single neighborhood.

I can 100% guarantee the judge is going to find discrimination based on race.
This is getting appealed all the way up.

That's exactly why the attorneys included the Archdiocese in their complaint (instead of just the principal and school) AND filed in Orleans Parish Civil Court, where they would more than likely get an African-American judge to review. 11 out of the 14 civil court judges are POC.
