I have so many thoughts about this picture.
1) Just chillin' in the middle of a metropolis... roastin' my pig.
2) That fro is legit
3) Kingsford charcoal is basically unchanged from 1978, down to the packaging. How many other products can say that?
4) I see you hiding over there, champagne of beers.
5) Where is everyone else?
6) BOOM BOX!
7) OP is a tool.

Summer of 78 was the summer I graduated from HS and I spent most of it in Ft Walton Beach living in the parking lot next to the Ramada Inn. Best time of my life.

I remember those times vividly, they were such good times. People actually talked to each other, and no one stared at their phone at dinner. Other than hairy women, it was great times.

Cruisin man, cruisin....
The worst part of the 1970's was waiting for the damn phone to ring at your house....

In the mail just yesterday, I got a thumb drive from my dad, full of pics he'd digitized from 60s forward. I'm afraid to start looking at them, as I have too much shite to do this weekend.
We leave our cell phones at home every day when we walk through our neighborhood parks. It ain't the cultural Mecca NYC was but I've been making an effort to unplug (shitposting on TD is my final outlet).

That’s about $50 worth of charcoal at today’s prices.
